Facebook's First Home Update Coming Thursday

Many users have been unhappy with Facebook Home, the company's mobile platform on Android. Facebook will release a small update Thursday to Home, but it will mainly be bug fixes and minor improvements. Facebook Thursday directed a whiteboard session discussing Home. While greater features — such as making it easier to initiate a conversation from Chat Heads — won’t be available in this update, Facebook said the platform should improve over the course of the next few months.

Facebook Director of Product Adam Mosseri told reporters that of the 15,000-plus reviews of Facebook Home on the Google Play store, he’s read at least 2,000 of them (and counting).
