Facebook stock roundup: COO Sheryl Sandberg, other top execs sell shares

A few prominent Facebook executives recently offloaded shares of their company, included newly-minted General Counsel Colin Stretch and Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg.

Sandberg sold 169,756 shares of Facebook stock, according to recent Securities and Exchange Commission filings, earning $4,354,971.35. She still owns 15,168,126 shares of Facebook. Sandberg also sold 6,696 shares from her family trust, netting $171,788.56.

David Fischer, Facebook’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Partnerships, sold 24,000 shares for $607,560. He now owns 532,681 shares.

Stretch sold 2,019 shares, gaining $50,636.52. He still has 153,695 Facebook shares.

Chief Accounting Officer Jas Athwal disposed of 125 shares, gaining $3,193.75. Following the transaction, Athwal’s stock in Facebook sits at 175,996 shares.
