Facebook's Value Plummets Again, To $75 Billion
For the fourth consecutive time, Facebook's value has taken a dive, as a SharesPost auction on Wednesday closed at $30 per share, putting the company's value at $75 billion.
For the fourth consecutive time, Facebook’s value has taken a dive, as a SharesPost auction on Wednesday closed at $30 per share, dropping 6.25 percent.
Assuming that Facebook still has 2.5 billion outstanding shares, the company’s value is now $75 billion, down from $80 billion at the end of October, $82.25 billion in late September and $82.5 billion in August.
The auctions had plateaued earlier this year at $35 per share, before beginning a slow decline in late summer.
