Facebook SEC filings: Board of directors chosen, execs offload stock

Facebook has officially decided its eight members of the company’s board of directors, a vote that was taken earlier this week at the company’s inaugural shareholders meeting. It has been a busy week for Facebook executives, some of whom also sold stock this week.

Facebook confirmed, in a recent Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the company’s board of directors:

  • Mark Andreessen
  • Erskine Bowles
  • Susan Desmond-Hellmann
  • Donald Graham
  • Reed Hastings
  • Sheryl Sandberg
  • Peter Thiel
  • Mark Zuckerberg

Several prominent Facebook executives also offloaded or transferred company stock recently.

Sandberg, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, sold 169,756 shares of Facebook stock, earning $3,996,735.26. Sandberg still owns 15,507,638 shares of Facebook stock.

Ted Ullyot, Facebook’s outgoing general counsel, offloaded 34,180 shares, gaining $828,906.02. He still owns 490,222 shares of Facebook stock.

David Fischer, Facebook’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Partnerships, disposed of 24,000 shares worth a total of $578,160. After this transaction, he now owns 556,681 shares.

Jas Athwal, the company’s Chief Accounting Officer, sold 125 shares for a total of $3,020. Athwal now currently owns 174,902 shares of Facebook stock.
