Eventually Facebook is going to get some kind of status update retrospective figured out, but the latest test version still isn’t it.
“On This Day In” appears to have usurped Memorable Status Update and Memorable Stories over the past month or so.
This iteration reminds us of a third-party application called PastPost, which shows what you did on Facebook one year ago, to the day — only the app presents you with this information via email.
While it’s kind of cute to see status updates from a year or two ago, “On This Day In” doesn’t provide a comprehensive look at all of a user’s activity on the day in question.
