Facebook has been trying to be more accurate about organic and paid reach. Last month, the social network fixed a bug that made reported reach lower than reality. Now, the site has made it easier for page administrators to find out how well their posts have been doing in terms of organic and paid reach by putting these figures at the top of the page admin panel.
AllFacebook reader Sean Linman noticed this when he was managing his Facebook page:
This makes it easier for page admins to not only track organic and paid reach, but pay to promote posts. Instead of doing this on a post-by-post basis, or using a third-party application to manage, Facebook users can easily do it from the page admin screen. Facebook is apparently testing this with select users.
These metrics replace the notifications space.
