Malaysian police are holding two men on suspicion for beating a man to death over a negative Facebook posting that he had written about a girl.

According to local police reports gathered by AFP, the deceased, 20-year-old Mohamad Amran Romli befriended a girl on the popular social network site.

Soon after, the online relationship between Romli and the girl took a bitter turn as he began posting denigrading comments about not only the young woman but her family as well.
