Facebook Photo Organizer Pixable Adds Video

Photo-organization Facebook app Pixable is now a video-organization app, as well, as it announced the addition of video discovery and sharing today.
The same ranking technology Pixable uses for photos will help users to find the most relevant videos shared via Facebook and other sites, including YouTube and Vimeo — WonderRank, which makes recommendations based on what users have chosen to view in the past, fine-tuning those recommendations the more it is used.
For now, the video features are available only on the web — including Facebook — but Pixable said they will be integrated into Apple’s iOS shortly, for use on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
The incorporation of video comes on the heels of Pixable’s addition earlier this month of a news feed made up of photos that a user has liked or commented on.
