Some Facebook users are seeing a module on the right side of the homepage that displays a selection of their photos and encourages them to add locations, complete with suggestions.
Some Facebook users are seeing a module on the right side of the homepage that displays a selection of their photos and encourages them to add locations, complete with suggestions.
The suggested locations have been fairly accurate so far, showing Facebook’s facial recognition technology at work.
Our guess is that this tweak is aimed at encouraging users to incorporate more photos, and more information about them, into their timelines.
