Facebook Not Disconnecting Wikileaks - Yet

Wikileaks has been feeling the chill since it released a quarter of million documents just last week. Several major operators disconnected themselves from the site, but Twitter and Facebook continue to stand by the site.

Wikileaks has been feeling the chill since it released a quarter of million documents just last week. Several major operators disconnected themselves from the site. Amazon was the first when they stopped hosting the site. Paypal soon followed when it shut down its account. Visa suspended payments, and the other major credit card, Mastercard, said they would do the same on Tuesday.

However, the site continues to have a presence on both Twitter and Facebook. It looks like Wikileaks will stay alive in a social media sense.
