The social network registered three domain names based on the phrase Facebook Newsroom.
The social network registered three domain names based on the phrase Facebook Newsroom.
Fusible reported that the social network registered facebook-newsroom.com, facebook-newsroom.net, and facebook-newsroom.org.
The most obvious URL, facebooknewsroom.com, was scooped up by a Kansas resident last year, according to Fusible.
We have a hunch there might be a few phone calls between Menlo Park, California, and Kansas in the near future.
UPDATE: Facebook said the new URLs are related to an upgrade to its press room.
Facebook has been on a domain-name splurge over the past few days.
