Facebook has introduced a feature to allow users to link their accounts with Japanese social network Mixi.

Facebook has introduced a feature to allow users to link their accounts with Japanese social network Mixi. This follows similar moves targeted at Google-owned Orkut and Hyves, a popular Dutch social network, which we reported yesterday.

Asiajin reports that the new export tool lets users update their Mixi accounts from within Facebook. It gives access only to existing Mixi features, and was probably made by Facebook without cooperation from Mixi. The Orkut tool, which operates in a similar way, was reportedly a unilateral Facebook effort.
