Attention, Trekkies: “Star Trek” will beam onto Facebook Friday, May 10, at 5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET for a live chat hosted by Andy Samberg and featuring Director J.J. Abrams and “Star Trek” legend George Takei.
Abrams and Takei will discuss their “Star Trek” experiences, fan engagement on Facebook, and upcoming feature film Star Trek: Into Darkness.
Facebook is a perfect host for the chat, as Samberg has portrayed Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg on several occasions on “Saturday Night Live,” while Takei boasts one of the social network’s most popular celebrity pages.
