Facebook and Instagram walked the social catwalk at São Paulo Fashion Week last week.

The social network and its photo- and video-sharing network set up the Infinity Room, a mirrored photo booth that was open to anyone who visited event venue Bienal at Parque Ibirapuera, and more than 1,300 photos were taken there.

In addition, Facebook Live Studios provided a space for verified stylists, artists, journalists and special invitees to use the Facebook Mentions application and its Live for Facebook Mentions live-streaming feature to record live broadcasts from the event.

Christian Rôças, who works on entertainment partnerships in Latin America for Facebook, said in a Facebook Media blog post that 47 live videos were created in Facebook Live Studios at the event, totaling some 10 hours of video and tallying more than 4 million total views.
