Mark Zuckerberg has said that different kinds of content will be available on Facebook Home. That’s coming soon, as Facebook announced Thursday that beta testers of Android will see highly visual content from Instagram, as well as Pinterest, Tumblr and Flickr on the Facebook Home cover feed.
A Facebook spokesperson announced the news to Inside Facebook:
To turn on additional services, you’ll need to select the app from the Home settings menu and log in with your credentials. You can easily like and view posts, or click on the “view on” link to go directly to the site. We are committed to making Home the best experience for our users, and are bringing the things they care most about to their lock screen. We’re starting to test this today within the Facebook for Android Beta program and we will make it available more widely.
