Facebook Goes Down For Many Users

Over the past 48 hours Facebook has been experiencing widespread outages. While the issue was temporarily resolved, this afternoon it appears to have returned. The issue today appears to be on Facebook’s end as the company wrote, “We’re currently experiencing some site issues causing Facebook to be slow or unavailable for some people. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”

While a number of the users who previously reported that the site was down are able to access it once again, the site Down Right Now shows that the site is down for a large percentage of the population.
