Facebook Developing More Ways to Track Your Every Move On Mobile

Social giant, Facebook, is looking to create an app that can track you even when the app is turned off, according Bloomberg. The technology is not novel – Ross Wickman  pointed out that CliqFindr has similar means for tracking users. That said, Facebook cannot track your location if you do not give the app permission.

Facebook’s privacy policy regarding tracking GPS and location data:

We may put together your current city with GPS and other location information we have about you to, for example, tell you and your friends about people or events nearby, or offer deals to you that you might be interested in.
