Facebook Developers Frustrated Over Auto-Disabling Errors
Since Facebook first shut down LOLapps last week, prior to the overblown privacy fiasco which was “exposed” by the Wall Street Journal, developers have been complaining that their applications are also being shut down.
At first, we received reports that numerous gifts applications were being shut down, including Free Gifts (as discussed in the developer forum), which has been around since the first day of the Facebook Platform. This morning we also received reports that some other applications were shut down and a number of others as well over the weekend.
While we’re not sure how many applications have been shut down, it’s clear that Facebook’s auto-deletion system has been put into overdrive.
