With the Final Four teams set for the 2013 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship, the Sports on Facebook page offered a look at counties in the U.S. that back Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, and Wichita State.
With the Final Four teams set for the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the Sports on Facebook page offered a look at counties in the U.S. that back Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, and Wichita State.
The map from the Facebook Data Science Team showed that Michigan’s popularity was spread across the country, while the majority of counties that favored Syracuse and Wichita State were located close to the universities. Louisville fell somewhere in the middle, with red areas all over the map, but not to the same degree as Michigan.
