Facebook Commercial Spoof: Forget Chairs…Toilets Are Like Facebook!

By now you’ve probably seen the new Facebook commercial—you know that less than awesome homage to chairs and the fact that chairs are like Facebook because they bring people together? Well, the Facebook commercial has racked up nearly 1 million views on YouTube and, although ratings and comments have been disabled on the video page, Andrew Zenn Films has responded with a spoof likening Facebook not to chairs…but to toilets!

The Facebook campaign, created by Wieden + Kennedy, the force behind so many awesome campaigns, ranging from the Old Spice response campaign to P&G’s Olympic campaign honoring the moms of Olympic athletes, “honors the everyday things that people use to get together and connect – things like chairs, doorbells, bridges, airplanes and Facebook.
