Should a Guinness World Record count when it was exclusively the result of an initiative to break the previous record? That question could be asked about the new mark for most comments on a Facebook status update.

Tracey Hodgson of the United Kingdom, a fan of Zynga game FrontierVille, created a Facebook, group, Ffgpioneers, where 107 FrontierVille aficionados began commenting on an October 30 post, leaving an average of 9,358 comments apiece.
