After hitting the track for Nascar’s premier event, the Daytona 500, Cie Games’ Car Town Facebook game is heading to the “Brickyard.”

Car Town started the engines on its 2012 Indy 500 Challenge, in which players can race as IndyCar drivers including Scott Dixon, Graham Rahal, Tony Kanaan, and Dario Franchitti, piloting IndyCar’s new 2012 chassis design around Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Much like Cie Games did for the Daytona 500, players can assemble their own pit crews by inviting friends, with the fastest pit crews leading to points awards and top spots on the leaderboard.

In addition, Car Town players will receive points bonuses if the driver they are playing as actually wins the Indianapolis 500, which will be run for the 96th time Sunday, May 27.
