Facebook application Famous Daily gives users of the social network a way to “remember” their friends’ birthdays automatically, and to send them messages that go beyond “Happy Birthday!”
Once users grant permission, Famous Daily will automatically post greetings to their friends’ walls, on their birthdays, adding information about a unique event that happened on that day.
Our take: While the messages being generated automatically eliminates the risk of forgetting friends’ birthdays, it also doesn’t allow users to personalize the birthday messages in any way, nor can they choose from different options for the events that took place on that day.
