Facebook announced that it will beef up staffing at its international headquarters in Dublin, adding some 100 positions to the 400 or so already working at the facility in Ireland.
The social network said the new positions fall across a variety of functions, the Irish Examiner reported.
IDA Ireland, the country’s inward investment promotion agency, said in a statement:
The roles will have a significant economic impact, and Facebook’s Dublin operation works closely with the Irish government, via the Department of Jobs, Enterprise, and Innovation, and IDA Ireland.
