Blogger B.L. Ochman said in a post on his blog that he used TweepSearch to scan Twitter users’ bios and found that there were 15,740 who claimed to be social-media experts, compared with 4,487 in May, Mashable reported.

“Marketer” was the most-used description, according to Mashable, but “guru,” “ninja” and “superstar” also made up much of the list.

broadstuff added that using the increase of 3.5 times every six months, there will be almost 30 million social-media experts on Twitter by the end of 2012.
