eReader Apps Drop In iPad App Store Rankings
eReader apps have lost their stronghold in the iPad’s App Store. Today, as of 4:30 PM ET, Apple’s iBooks app is No. 7, Amazon’s Kindle app is No. 14 and Barnes & Noble’s Nook for iPad app is ranked at No. 23.
When we checked these rankings on December 30th, the eReader apps were ranked much higher. Apple’s iBooks was No. 1, Amazon’s Kindle app was No. 8 and Barnes & Noble’s Nook app was No.
