Emerging free iOS apps: Mega Run, Snapseed and Gun Building II

This week’s free iOS charts are lead by the one-two team of Mega Run – Redford’s Adventure and Snapseed, both of which take No. 1 and No. 2 on the free iPhone and free iPad charts.

Get Set Game’s Mega Run is a cute and well-produced 2D sidescroller. Billed as the sequel to Mega Jump, Mega Run boasts seven playable characters and four unique worlds with 64 stages for players to complete. The free-to-play title monetizes through in-app purchases of two currencies, coins and mega points and promises regular free updates with new levels and characters will be released regularly.
