Spotify Celebrates Elvis With Two Interactive Web Apps
In honor of Elvis' 80th birthday, Spotify created two "audiovisualizations" to track the King's influence.
In honor of The King’s would-be 80th birthday, Spotify has created a few web apps to celebrate his music and his influence.
Firstly, there’s “The Elvis Influence,” an audiovisualization where you can type in any artists’ name to see how they are connected musically to Elvis. Try to stump it; The Grateful Dead influenced Elvis Costello who was influenced by Elvis. Rita Ora is similar to Jessie J who was influenced by Pink who was…well, you get the point.
