Facebook began testing the ability for users to edit their posts last June, and the feature was beta-tested for its Android application last September, with its rollout to desktop users starting later that month, and Android and iOS users officially joining the party last October. But other than in some isolated tests, page administrators have not been able to edit posts on their pages, until now.
A Facebook spokesperson confirmed to sister blog Inside Facebook that all verified pages now have access to the post-editing feature, and that some non-verified pages are being included, as well, saying:
We started rolling out post editing capabilities for verified pages earlier this month. All verified pages now have this capability, and we’re in the process of testing it with a small group of non-verified pages.
There’s no date yet for a global rollout, but verified pages started to have this capability earlier this month.
