Ectaco To Launch New eReader

Ectaco has a new eReader called the jetBook Mini.

In the above video, an Ectaco spokesperson demos the new eReader. The design is based on customer feedback and is lighter and thinner than the jetBook. It has a 5″ LCD screen and weighs 5.8 ounces.

It runs on four AAA batteries. Ectaco recommends Energinzer lithium batteries, which supposedly will give you 90 hours of reading time or two years of standby time.

The spokesman in the video doesn’t say when the eReader is slated for release, but he does say that it is $99.
