Facebook hookup application Bang with Friends is officially leaving the “with friends” part of its name to game developer Zynga following the settlement of a trademark-infringement lawsuit, extending the Down rebranding it introduced to its iOS app in August to the entire operation, and adding several new features.

The new Down is currently available for Android, with the iOS and Web versions coming soon.

The first rendition of Bang with Friends was simple: Users chose Facebook friends whom they wanted to hook up with and sent nudges, and if the feeling was mutual, well, you get the idea.

Down takes things further, allowing users to browse friends of friends, and including “get date” as an option, rather than just, well, banging.
