Don't Let the Dingo eat Your Kindle!
The Big W, one of Australia’s larger retail chains, is now taking pre-orders for the Amazon Kindle. It will be carrying the Kindle Wifi and the Kindle 3G, with the first orders shipping on 29 August. Retail price is a little high ($159 & $229 AUD), but if you order online you can get free shipping. It looks like both models will also be carried in stores along with accessories.
Update: The Kindle will also be available in New Zealand and Australia at Woolworths, Dick Smith, and Countdown stores on 31 August.The
