Disney Releases 'Peter Pan' App Tied to DVD Release
Disney has adapted the classic kids book Peter Pan into an interactive iOS app. The app comes as the classic story celebrates its 60th birthday. Disney has also released a “Diamond Edition” DVD/Blu-ray to celebrate the occasion.
The app brings the classic work to modern times. It features text, which you can read on your own, or click on to have it read aloud. The app also features audio tracks of music.
The story encourages kids to meander and learn how to play the virtual pan flute or digitally color in outlines of Peter Pan and the Darling children.
