Dell Released Aero and Streak Android Open Source Components

It is easy to forget that Google Android’s base system is Open Sourced. As a reminder, Dell released the Open Source portions for their Aero and Streak smartphones.

Source Code Now Available for Dell Streak and Aero Products

The Aero source code includes the Bluetooth stack, OBEX (Object Exchange) protocol used by their Bluetooth and USB stacks, Webkit browser, PPP network stack, Linux kernel, and WiFi stack. The Streak source includes the Bluetooth stack, something to do with JPEG image format, Webkit browser, Linux kernel and WiFi stack.
