Creators of Please Rob Me Launch I Can Stalk U, Take Aim at Geo-Tagged Photos
The creators of Please Rob Me — developers Ben Jackson and Larry Pesce and independent security research team Mayhemic Labs — are apparently satisfied with their haul, as the site that called attention to the risk of sharing location data is no longer in operation. Their efforts are now focused on I Can Stalk U, which is aimed at highlighting the dangers in geo-tagged photos, ReadWriteWeb reports.
Security researcher Graham Cluley told ReadWriteWeb, “Many people may be unaware that lots of smart phones geo-tag photos,” and he discussed I Can Stalk U in a post on the Sophos Blog:
