Facebook will release an update to its Android application Thursday that will allow users to set popular Home feature Cover Feed as their default lock screens. The Cover Feed option is only available for users with Home-supported devices, but that list now includes the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S IV, and Nexus 4.

Android users with supported devices can now opt to use Cover Feed without other Home features, such as Chat Heads and its app launcher, and a Facebook spokesperson told CNET users can quickly unlock their screens to access the camera and messages, adding:

Cover Feed has been a popular element of the Home experience, and making it available from the Facebook Android app makes it accessible for more people.
