Comparison Of Android eReaders

Yesterday Amazon released the Kindle app for Android, and I wrote in my post about that news that the Kindle is the second multi-platform eReader for Android, with Kobo being the first. Beside the obvious difference of supporting eBooks from the Amazon and Kobo book stores, there are some slight differences between the two applications, and Matt Miller has created a nice table comparing the two. The bookmark synchronization problem is a significant issue with Kobo and because of it I would have to recommend the Kindle app over it.

Matt notes that neither of these apps support the EPUB format, which is being used by some libraries for lending eBooks.
