CNN, Foursquare Partner on World Cup Promotion

CNN and Foursquare are teaming up on a 2010 FIFA World Cup promotion. Soccer fans that connect with CNN at Foursquare.com/CNN can earn special badges by checking in to venues around the world. Fans attending the games in South Africa can check in at stadiums to earn the “South Africa Explorer” badge, while those in the 31 other countries competing can earn the “Super Fan” badge (pictured) for checking in at viewing venues.
