On June 2, CMT One Country teamed up with Sheba to reward hard-working volunteers at the Nashville Cat Rescue with a rooftop party and a concert by "American Idol" star Janelle Arthur at the Aerial Penthouse in Nashville, TN.

On June 2, CMT One Country teamed up with Sheba to reward hard-working volunteers at the Nashville Cat Rescue with a rooftop party and a concert by “American Idol” star Janelle Arthur at the Aerial Penthouse in Nashville, TN.

Anthony Barton, SVP of integrated marketing for CMT, and Lucia Folk, senior director of public affairs for CMT, described the lavish affair as a “cat’s paradise” with a giant bird cage, cat food candelabras, and pictures of adoptable cats in gold frames.

While there was no official spokescat presiding over the event — the only warm fuzzies were those shared between the country singer and the unsung heroes who help save cats from the pound — Folk and Barton said that the partnership with Sheba was a good fit...
