Social gifting company Cleverbug added video and audio messaging to its CleverCards iOS application Tuesday, along with the ability to send e-cards via Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
Social gifting company Cleverbug added video and audio messaging to its CleverCards iOS application Tuesday, along with the ability to send e-cards via Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
Cleverbug said CleverCards users can sign up for in-app subscriptions of $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year to add 20-second video or audio greetings to their e-cards, adding that premium subscribers will also have access to thousands of exclusive e-card designs.
Founder and CEO Kealan Lennon said in a release announcing the launch of the new features:
Video has become a core element of social expression via services such as Instagram, Vine, Snapchat and WhatsApp, so it only made sense for Cleverbug to bring this new trend to online greeting cards.
