Social gifting company Cleverbug and its CleverCards online greeting card service were the subject of the most recent edition of Facebook’s Success Stories, as the social network recognized Cleverbug’s gains in reach and conversions over the past 12 months.

Facebook said Cleverbug took advantage of its ad-targeting offerings, including custom audiences and lookalike audiences, to achieve the following:

  • A reach of 12 million Facebook users per month.
  • A conversion rate of 47 percent.
  • More than 40 percent of its traffic is generated by referrals from friends.
