Facebook Salutes Cleverbug For Clever Use Of Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences

CleverbugBanner650Social gifting company Cleverbug and its CleverCards online greeting card service were the subject of the most recent edition of Facebook’s Success Stories, as the social network recognized Cleverbug’s gains in reach and conversions over the past 12 months.

Facebook said Cleverbug took advantage of its ad-targeting offerings, including custom audiences and lookalike audiences, to achieve the following:

  • A reach of 12 million Facebook users per month.
  • A conversion rate of 47 percent.
  • More than 40 percent of its traffic is generated by referrals from friends.
  • Customers in more than 150 countries.

Facebook said of Cleverbug in its Success Story on the company:

Because the CleverCards service mixes social and mobile technology with friends and family, as well as user-generated content, Facebook was the natural place to start. The company built an engaging brand page and used highly targeted mobile application install ads with custom audiences and lookalike audiences to reach the right customer profiles. The CleverCards app allows people to create a CleverBook of friends and family special dates on Facebook, and sends push notifications to make sure they never miss a special occasion.
