I am constantly shocked by how little people pay attention to their Twitter backgrounds. Like they don’t mean a thing. Sigh. People, whatever online presence you have says something about who you are, what you do and what’s important to you. Let’s put it this way – you can use one of the default backgrounds that Twitter provides you, but that’s like getting all your clothes at one store because you can’t be bothered to go anywhere else. So I recommend that you rock your background and make it a standout. But be sure not to clutter it up or do too much. While these vintage backgrounds are well done, be careful - you want people to read your tweets, not be distracted by what else you’ve got going on the screen.
