74% use Social Networks in China (With 12% on Banned Twitter) [STATS]

Almost three in four internet users in China aged 16-64 have used at least one social network in the past month, a figure which equates to about 347 million people, reveals new data from GlobalWebIndex.

Of those, about 12 percent say that they use Twitter, with 16 percent active on Facebook, which is very interesting given that both platforms are banned in mainland China.

Google+, which is also banned throughout the country, finished first amongst the major Western social networks, with a 21 percent share.
