ChinaFlag650Facebook is still blocked in China, but that didn’t stop Lu Wei, minister of the country’s Cyberspace Administration, from including the social network on a recent itinerary that also included visits to Apple and Amazon, Reuters reported.

According to Reuters, a Chinese government website featured photos of Lu’s Silicon Valley tour, saying that he and Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg greeted each other in Mandarin.

Reuters reported that the Chinese site also noted the presences of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book, The Governance of China, on Zuckerberg’s desk, and Zuckerberg told Lu:

I also bought this book for my coworkers; I wanted them to learn about socialism with Chinese characteristics.

According to Reuters, Lu also met with Apple CEO Tim Cook and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
