Checking in on foursquare just got a little easier for iPhone users with the release of version 3.2 of the location-based mobile app.
A new check-in button, placed in the center of the bottom toolbar, was the highlight of the new features in version 3.2, and foursquare also introduced an improved Explore tab to help users find specials at participating venues, incorporating content that formerly appeared under Specials Nearby.
One casualty of the new version of the iPhone app: The Shout button is no more, but users can still attach shouts to their check-ins.
