Charles Barkley: Why I’ll Never Join Twitter

Social media isn't for everybody, and that includes the round mound of rebound.

Twitter has more than 288 million active users and has revolutionised personal branding for celebrities of all shapes and sizes around the world.

But it’s not for everyone. Indeed, for some not being on Twitter can often be more of a badge of honor than actually having a place on the network.

And one of those people is former basketball superstar Charles Barkley. And, as per usual, his reasons are very much his own.

“Fans have this perception that they can say anything to you because you are a celebrity,” Barkley said to CNBC.
