Cell Phone Recycling Company Gets $15 Million in Funding

ReCellular, a Michigan-based cell phone recycling service, has raised $15 million from Investor Growth Capital in order to open new offices, hire more people, and expand collection facilities, CNET News reports. The service pays people to recycle their phones, something that we would love to see more of.

The report said that by the end of the year, ReCellular aims to collect more than 6 million phones, distributing some for reuse among 40 countries while recycling broken ones for scrap.
