NEW YORK Comcast Ad Sales, a new division of Comcast Cable, has awarded its $5 million advertising account to Tucker Hampel Stefanides & Partners, the first victory for the agency under its new banner.

This is the first advertising effort from Comcast Ad Sales since the addition of AT&T Broadband late last year, said Bill Tucker, managing partner of the New York agency.

A representative for the Philadelphia-based cable operator confirmed the account assignment, but would not identify other agencies that participated in the review.
