Facebook’s Carolyn Everson Experiences Scare on Flight to CES

By David Cohen

InternationalCESLogo650Facebook vice president of global marketing solutions Carolyn Everson apparently had a much more eventful trip to the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas than she would have preferred.

Claire Atkinson of the New York Post reported that Everson’s flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to Las Vegas ran into some issues, as the pilot was forced to depressurize the cabin and fly at a lower altitude than normal in order to ensure that the passengers had enough oxygen. The flight then returned to Newark.

According to Atkinson, Everson mentioned the incident in a Facebook post, writing:

Amazing what goes through your mind in 90 minutes when you are not sure of the outcome.

Atkinson reported that the post had more than 450 likes at the time of her post.
