Calculate Your 'Pinfluence' On Pinpuff

Pinpuff is a new social scoring system that’s similar to Klout. Launched in private Beta in February, the new tool measures the influence and reach of design lovers on Pinterest.

“Pinpuff is not affiliated with Pinterest – although we like them a lot!” writes founder Ammrita Sharma on the home page. The 20-year-old computer science student lives in India and is a self-proclaimed “Pinterest addict.”

Like Klout, Pinpuff ranks users on a 100-point scale. The metrics for the image-based site are similar to those on Facebook or Twitter, and include tracking the number of followers and activities like “pinning” and “repinning” images.

In addition to the score, the system also estimates the dollar value generated by the pins.
